CREDA Membership Scholarship

The James Mitchell Presidential Scholarship

In celebration and support of James Mitchell for his years of service to CREDA Triad, we are proud to sponsor a full CREDA membership for (1) year. 

Details

Scholarship is open to anyone of any age currently employed in the commercial real estate industry. 

A full membership scholarship includes:

  • (1) year of CREDA Membership sponsored by the chapter (CREDA membership is national, so membership includes access to CREDA Corporate and CREDA Triad resources).
  • Recognition at a CREDA Triad Luncheon + digital recognition
  • Complimentary attendance at CREDA Triad luncheons 

Scholarship Application & Criteria

  • Applicants must be currently employed in CRE or do work in the CRE industry. Applicants company is not required to be a current CREDA member. 
  • Membership Scholarship is available for up to (1) winner a year.
  • The CREDA board will review applications and notify winners.
  • CREDA will work with scholarship winners to ensure profiles are set up.
  • Winners are expected (but not required) to attend regular CREDA events.
  • Applications for a 2026 membership are open. Deadline to apply is November 30.

CREDA Developing Leaders Scholarship Opportunities

Supporting the next generation of CRE professionals is a top priority for CREDA Triad. We are proud to sponsor a Developing Leaders Scholarship to increase awareness of CREDA and help advance the careers of young professionals (age 35 and under).

Scholarship Details

The CREDA Triad Developing Leaders Scholarship offers (2) options to apply for (a Developing Leaders membership or a CREDA NC Conference Registration)

A membership scholarship includes:

  • (1) year of CREDA Membership sponsored by the chapter (CREDA membership is national, so membership includes access to CREDA Corporate and CREDA Triad resources.
  • Assigned CREDA mentor from the current chapter board of directors.
  • Recognition at a CREDA Triad Luncheon + digital recognition
  • Complimentary attendance at CREDA Triad luncheons + DL events.


A CREDA NC Conference scholarship includes:

  • (1) CREDA NC Conference Registration + (1) night hotel & mileage. The 2026 CREDA NC Conference will be held February 17-19, 2027. Click here for Conference details.
  • DL Connector -pairing with mentor or other scholarship winners at conference
  • Recognition at a CREDA Triad Luncheon + digital recognition

Scholarship Application & Process

Criteria and process for DL Scholarship include:

  • Complete the application by November 30. Tell us why you want to join CREDA NC Chapter (or attend the CREDA NC conference). Managing supervisor signature required. Complete application, headshot, and bio returned via email to [email protected]. Applicants must be currently employed and aged 35 and under. Applicants company is not required to be a current CREDA member. If applying for the conference registration, current DL membership is required.
  • Membership Scholarship is available for up to (5) winners for 2027; Conference registration is available for (1) winner and hotel accommodations are based on availability.
  • The CREDA board will review applications and notify winners by Thursday, December 31, 2026.
  • CREDA will work with conference scholarship winner to ensure registration at CREDA NC Conference; hotel accommodations are based on availability. 
  • Winners are expected (but not required) to attend regular CREDA events.
  • Developing Leaders scholarship winners are not eligible for DEI student scholarships
  • If selected, ID is required for proof of age by CREDA Corporate.
